Standard mini air conditioners usually work with use 12 volt system and usually are compact, handy, and less expensive for an investment. Therefore they are ideal cooling device for inside a car and other confined space. A mini air conditioner unit is the best choice cooling device if you want to live in someplace for weeks or months because I think you agree if we say that the investment is probably not worth it. Basically it consist in two major part that are base (usually is placed outside) and size in smaller unit that usually placed inside room. The second unit is designed smaller has purpose can be fitted anywhere inside room easily.
Some people call mini air conditioners as ductless cooling device because they don’t need duct-work for operate. Although they look compact and handy but they are not portable so we cannot move the machine from one place to others easily (except the smaller units of them). They can work more efficient than air conditioning units which need ductwork to operate, why? Because theoretically and factually ductwork can consume energy approximate up to 30 %. So if we compare to cooling devices which need ductwork, they can cut the energy usage and our energy bill significantly. Then they also can be applied easily either in residential or in office, with heating system such as space heaters, hydronic-system, radiant panel heaters, etc.
The cover design of them is as well as their performance today. And will look clearly the difference if we compare to traditional version that usually still have design as the window mounted model. We can choose what the best design of them, so suit to our room’s interior. They are available can be mounted on the wall, ceiling or just sit on the floor. If you choose model that can be mounted in ceiling and wall, better we choose unit that is equipped with remote control, so it can helpful to operate device easily. Mini conditioner also can help make the room keep free from moisture so they can supply high quality fresh cool air as long as the device keep operate well. They are ideal cooling device to cool small room, so not recommended to use for large room. For large room better we use central ac units that have high level types for the energy capacity in BTUs (British Thermal Energy).
